Event 5: Book Trailer
(for Lower Secondary Students)
Students work in teams to re-enact a scene from a lit text which can be a short story, novel or play. The objective is to present their text in the form of a trailer that would persuade the audience to read that lit text. In preparation for this, students must be trained to analyse their Literature text and identify significant aspects of the story, language features.
Please note that the time limit for the performance has been reduced to 3 minutes.

Schools should NOT send more than 1 team per school.

Video Consent Form
As NSLF 2023 is an online event, schools will be asked to submit the video consent form at the point of registration. Schools are responsible for obtaining the consent of the students' parents/guardian. Click on the "Registration" tab to download this form.
